The Commercial Arbitration Centre of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAC) recently signed a cooperation protocol with the Arbitration Centre of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Services of São Tomé and Príncipe (CA-CCIAS), consolidating the role these institutions in the resolution of commercial disputes with a view to a safer business environment, efficient and harmonious in both countries.
The signing of the protocol is based on the common objective of promoting arbitration as a privileged means of conflict resolution. This protocol aims, among other aspects, to foster institutional collaboration and the exchange of good practices in arbitration and to strengthen the training and capacity building of professionals, contributing to the consolidation of a stronger and more comprehensive arbitration culture.
