The CAC Internationalisation Committee operates within the context of the Commercial Arbitration Centre of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Arbitration Centre) and is aimed at all those involved in arbitration practice, whether domestic or international. The Committee aims to foster the international promotion of the Arbitration Centre and the arbitration practice adopted in this context.
It is the purpose of the CAC Internationalisation Committee to promote initiatives to ensure the knowledge and participation of the Arbitration Centre in other jurisdictions, sharing the knowledge in the arbitration practice it ensures and benefiting, equally, from the sharing of other experiences in the arbitration context ensured by other jurisdictions, for permanent and reciprocal collaboration. It is also the purpose of the CAC Internationalisation Committee to ensure a permanent connection with similar arbitration centres of other jurisdictions, ensuring, also in this domain, the promotion of that and the sharing of knowledge in the context of domestic and international arbitration.
For this purpose, the CAC Internationalisation Committee counts on the participation of the different players in arbitration matters, in the different sectors of activity, in different jurisdictions and with the different roles in the arbitration universe.
